Susan Gordon works as a staff Sign Language Interpreter for the DHH program in the Accessibility Resource Center (ARC).  She earned her Associates Degree from Northcentral Technical College (Wausau, WI) in 1984 and completed her Bachelor’s Degree of Interpreting at St. Catherine’s University (St. Paul, MN) in 2001.  She worked as an Educational Interpreter at New Berlin Middle School and High School for four years before becoming a staff member at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1998.  In addition to Post-Secondary interpreting, she is also a Video Relay Interpreter.  She carries both CI and CT certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and has held various volunteer positions for the Wisconsin Chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf over the years.  Susan has always had a love for learning, so, UWM has been a good fit with new challenges each semester.
